An outdoor space is an important part of a PreK-2 learning environment because spending time outdoors has many benefits. Having durable furniture that lasts is the foundation of any outdoor classroom and our recycled plastic lumber benches are built to withstand the elements. Table and bench sets are also available.
Recycled plastic lumber requires no maintenance and is very durable with a long lifecycle because it does not rot (like some woods) or rust (like metal). For added security, add a ground anchor so your bench stays put.
Why recycled plastic lumber?
Recycled plastic lumber is not only comfortable to sit on because it doesn’t get hot or splinter; it’s a sustainable product too. It is made of a combination of plastics that would have otherwise gone to the landfill such as bottle tops, bottles and plastic bags.
