Why We Designed This

Bamboo is a renewable resource that grows quickly and sequesters carbon, unlike steel which produces carbon. The Bamboo Shelving Unit has a natural aesthetic suited for neutral and early childhood environments. With 2 shelves for storage and an included 6 tubs, this Bamboo Shelving Unit is at the ideal height for early childhood students and educators to access toys, books, and other supplies.

For every bamboo product purchased, Copernicus will make a donation to conserve natural panda habitat through the World Wildlife Fund.

Our finish is a nitrocellulose lacquer. Lacquers are a popular finish type for furniture and the preferred choice of professional furniture makers. Lacquers provide a clear, durable, and water-resistant finish, that protects the base material while also enhancing its appearance.

The Bamboo Shelving Unit is a neat and tidy piece, with calming colours. The bins are useful for storage for toys and activities and the top of the shelf is the perfect height for the students to sit at to complete activities on top of.
