Carbon Footprint

Global Emissions

Most Greenhouse emissions (GHG) come from the burning of fossil fuels, burned to make electricity, heat our buildings, grow food, make products and for transportation.

Measuring our Carbon Footprint

Using the Greenhouse Gas Protocol’s Global GHG Value Chain Accounting and Reporting Standard, we measure the carbon footprint of everything we do.

Our Commitment and Action

Carbon Neutrality Scope 1 and 2 Emissions Scope 3 Emissions
Our goal is to be carbon-neutral by 2025 Our goal is to reduce Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 50% by 2023 (from a 2019 base year) Our goal is to reduce Scope 3 emissions by 50% by 2025
Continuing to measure & reduce our emissions Reducing drafts throughout the building Using materials with a lower carbon footprint like Bamboo
Supporting carbon offset projects annually Planning to install a non-greenhouse gas-producing heat source (in our facility) Recyclable packaging (99.9% plastic free)
Planning to install more solar panels Aiming to increase circularity in our products (i.e. lifetime warranty, free repair parts)

Purchasing Carbon Offsets

We choose to fund a diversity of projects across three areas of offset projects and we allocate a specific percentage of our budget to each.
