Educator's Reviews

We’ve been using the Self-regulation Classroom Cruiser in our elementary school for a little over a year and it has helped students with behavioral tendencies to calm down, release any tension and do their school work. Many of the students enjoy increasing the resistance on the bike. They feel strong and energized afterwards. The cruiser has helped multiple students regulate emotions throughout the year and it’ll continue to help even more!

The Self-regulation Classroom Cruiser has been a great addition to our classroom. Students use it to self-regulate. Often after recess, the bike is a popular go-to spot as sometimes transitioning from free time to learning can be a little challenging. Students will often head over to the bike with a book, or earphones on and pedal away for a few minutes in order to refocus.

There are a lot of flexible seating options out there, but not many that allow your students to exercise and learn at the same time. I also noticed that after a ride on the Classroom Cruiser, my students were more on-task and productive. I’m not sure who loves it more, my students or me!

Students ranging from 1st to 4th grade have been benefiting from using the Self-regulation Classroom Cruiser. Students enjoy the bike because it helps them focus their minds and bodies during instruction time. Each day, students rush to my room asking who gets to ride the bike during class. It has become something they look forward to and make them excited about learning.

Our students love to "Read & Ride" on the bikes.  The Copernicus bikes are the most popular feature in our library, and students will do almost anything to get a "golden ticket" to "Read & Ride" for a few minutes.

The Self-regulation Classroom Cruiser is a must have teacher tool.  It undoubtedly impacts learning in a positive way.  Whether a student needs to turn on their brain muscle or move because they are simply active learners, they can do so in the safety and comfort of their classroom.  In all my four schools and counting I have made bikes in classrooms a budget priority.  Doing so makes student success too easy.
