Why We Designed This

Young children learn best through hands-on, sensory experiences, which is why a sensory light table is an essential feature in PreK classrooms, kindergartens, and daycare settings. Sensory play supports fine motor development, cognitive growth, and self-regulation skills in a fun and engaging way.

Unlike many sensory centers, the light panel is removable, allowing it to be used in different areas of the classroom. Built-in brackets support the light panel, and when the light panel is removed, the opening can be covered with the included lid. This creates a usable surface for continued play—either the smooth tabletop side or the construction brick side. The construction brick tabletop is also removable, giving children the freedom to build on the floor or at another table while the light table is in use. When not needed, it slides neatly into a built-in storage shelf, making it easy to rotate learning centers throughout the day.

This model has height-adjustable legs for either toddler or preschool-sized children.
