Why We Designed This

Sensory play supports fine motor development, cognitive growth, and self-regulation skills in a fun and engaging way. Young children also learn best through hands-on, sensory experiences, which is why a sensory table is an essential feature in PreK classrooms, kindergartens, and daycare settings.

This multipurpose table includes a large tub for sand, water or other materials and is easy to empty simply by lifting the tub out– no drains that will leak or break! The construction brick tabletop acts as a lid and is removable, giving children the freedom to build on the floor or at another table while the sensory tub is in use. It is also mirrored on the opposite side to add another sensory option. When the lid is not needed, it slides neatly into a built-in storage shelf, making it easy to rotate learning centers throughout the day.
